My hot water tank packed it in and I needed a new one installed. Within a day, I was enjoying a seemingly endless supply of hot water from my larger tank. The worker was very friendly and clean. He took pride in ensuring the job was ‘done properly’ and that the finished product looked good….
I have never written an email like this before and probably won’t again. I don’t know who owns Viking. But the boss needs to know that he has the best group of guys working for him.

They did a good job on a number of things. Last time they did a bit of plumbing and the work was great, I just keep phoning them back as I am pleased with their work. I would definitely recommend this company as I am totally satisfied with their work….
Yes, quite drastically actually. Many modern furnaces have efficiency ratings up to 97% meaning that they are able to effectively transfer the energy in the fuel (natural gas in Alberta) into heat with only 3% waste! Truly incredible from older furnaces at 55%-75%.
Most furnace filters will last anywhere from 3 months to 1 year. It is recommended that you inspect your furnace filter monthly and replace when required or at the interval specific by the manufacturer (maximum amount of time between).
Like an oil change in your car, this is essential to maintaining a properly running furnace. Excessive dust in the furnace can drastically reduce its efficiency and make it tougher on internal components as a result.
There are certain signs that we look for that you can check yourself. We recommend you perform these checks at the start and end of winter.
To supply and install a new furnace, we prefer to come out to your home to take a look. We need to see the
current set up of the existing furnace and discuss new furnace options. There may need to be some code upgrades
to your venting. We try our very best to give a fair price for your furnace estimate so that are no more surprises.
However if we run into an issue that would incur extra charges we will tell you right away as well as the options and
cost associated so you know what’s going on every step of the way.
Our company installs Trane and Goodman furnaces. There is different price points and options available. We try to match the best furnace for your home as well as your budget. It is recommended that at least every year you have someone come inspect and perform service. This helps keep your furnace in proper working order and can make sure there are no sudden break downs during the cold winter months. During the inspection the service tech can give you preventative maintenance tips as well as let you know if a motor or control board should be replaced to ensure proper function to give you peace of mind
Typically a furnace replacement will take between one to two days, however the scope of work involved will be determined the length of time of the install.
