Will Viking Install my Ikea, home depot, etc. brand taps or products?
Absolutely, however please be aware that because Viking is not supplying the products, we do not warranty the product. So should the tap, leak or product fail, there will be another charge for Viking to come out. Should there be a problem with the workmanship (tap is loose etc.) they of course Viking will come out to remedy the issues at no extra charge.
What is the warranty?
Depends on the product as all manufactures very on the warranty they provide. However if a product that Viking installed is faulty due to our workmanship, Viking absolutely wants to make it right, and provides a one year warranty on workmanship.
Larger installations such as furnaces, boilers and more, come with a one year parts and labour warranty.
Please note than sewer drain cleaning and hydro scrubbing cannot be warrantied as Viking has no control of what is poured down the drain after we leave, or if the roots grow back or if the line collapses.

What does Viking stock in their service vans?
Viking tries to keep a wide variety or parts and pieces to service its customers. However there are so many brands and moving parts that it is impossible to carry everything and sometimes a trip to the wholesale is required. When this happens the cost of the trip to the wholesale is passed to the customer as Viking is required to pay its employees for the time spent driving and waiting in line and the reason Viking is at the wholesale is for the customer and their requirements.

This helps keep your furnace in proper working order and can make sure there are no sudden break downs during the cold winter months. During the inspection the service tech can give you preventative maintenance tips as well as let you know if a motor or control board should be replaced to ensure proper function to give you peace of mind
How often should I change my furnace filter?

What does an air conditioner do?
Connected to the inside cooling coil, the compressor pumps refrigerant back and forth, extracting heat and moisture from the indoors. It transfers the heat to the outdoors. Warm indoor air is blown over the indoor cooling coil, then is cooled and distributed throughout your home.

All air conditioners are sized to keep your home comfortable, which is typically 21C
How Temperature Should be Set For The Season?
- In the summer, place the system switch on COOL, and the fan switch on AUTO. Then set the temperature by using the indicator on the thermostat control. Now your system will cool your house whenever the indoor temperature climbs above the thermostat setting. It will shut off when the desired room temperature is reached.
- In the winter, when the system switch is on HEAT, the system will operate whenever the room temperature falls below the temperature setting. Once the desired temperature is reached, the system will shut off.
Why Should I Change My Air Filters?
When your system circulates and filters the air in your home, dust and dirt particles build up on the filter. Excessive accumulation can block the airflow, forcing the unit to work harder to maintain desired temperatures. The harder you’re unit works, the more energy it uses and if the filter is not changes, the blocked air flow can shut your system down and disable it from starting back up.
When Should I Change My Air Filters?
Clean or replace your filter a least once a month during seasons when the unit runs more often, some systems as much as twice a month. When replacing your filter(s), always use the same size and type that was originally supplied. Filters are available from your dealer. Where disposable filters are used, they must be replaced every month with the same size as originally supplied.
